Durante la semana de las Madres estuve pasando unas mini-vacaciones en Miami con mi hija menor que vive y trabaja allá. Estuve quedándome en Brickell Key (es una isla hecha por el hombre que se encuentra en el área continental de Brickell, en Miami, Florida. También llamada Claughton Island, el vecindario está justo al este del centro de Miami y del río Miami), y todos los días caminaba alrededor de la islita y cruzaba el puente para llegar a Brickell y me iba a caminar por las tiendas, comer y disfrutar del buen café.
Durante toda esa semana estuve visitando varios lugares a los ella me estuvo llevando, tales como Wynwood, Miami Design District, Lincoln Road Mall, Miami Beach, Giralda Plaza en Coral Gables y otros lugares más. Uno de los lugares que más me gustó fue Wynwood Walls, donde las paredes están pintadas con grafiti. Murales llenos de mucho color, mucho arte y expresión, creado por diferentes artistas de todo el mundo. Para mucha gente eso no es arte, pero para mi es arte en su máxima expresión. De hecho, existe un género para éste tipo de arte y es el “Street Art” o mejor conocido como “Arte Callejero”, Qué ustedes opinan?
En todos los lugares que estuve visitando habían paredes llenas de arte o sea murales hermosos, los cuales estaban llenos de turistas tomándose fotos porque quién pasa por ahí y no se toma fotos?, por lo menos yo no, porque tenía a mi hija loca tomándome fotos en todos lados.
A parte de ver mucho arte y disfrutar de muchos lugares ricos de comida, también disfruté del musical Lion King en Adrienne Arsht Center, el cual estuvo espectacular. Si tienen la oportunidad, tienen que verla.
Pasé una semana espectacular!!! Pero, necesito regresar a seguir conociendo muchos más lugares que me faltaron. See you later Miami ❤️

During Mother's week I was having a mini-vacations in Miami with my youngest daughter who lives and works there. I was staying at Brickell Key (it's a man-made island in the Brickell continental area, in Miami, Florida. Also called Claughton Island, the neighborhood is just east of downtown Miami and the Miami River), and every day I walked around the small island and crossed the bridge to get to Brickell and I would walk through the shops, eat and enjoy good coffee.
During all that week I was visiting several places to which she was taking me, such as Wynwood, Miami Design District, Lincoln Road Mall, Miami Beach, Giralda Plaza in Coral Gables and other places. One of the places I liked the most was Wynwood Walls, where the walls are painted with graffiti. Murals full of a lot of color, a lot of art and expression, created by different artists from all over the world. For many people that is not art, but for me it is art at its best. In fact, there is a genre for this type of art and it is the "Street Art" or better known as "Street Art", what do you think?
In all the places I was visiting there were walls full of art or beautiful murals, which were full of tourists taking pictures because who passes by and does not take pictures ?, At least I did not, because I had my daughter crazy taking me photos everywhere.
Apart from seeing a lot of art and enjoying many places rich in food, I also enjoyed the musical Lion King at Adrienne Arsht Center, which was spectacular. If they have the opportunity, they have to see it.
